Representatives of the IDBI Bank will strike labor for two successive days (October 24 and 25) requesting long pending compensation update, said All India Bank Employees' Association (AIBEA). Wage correction for representatives and officers of IDBI Bank is expected for the period from 1-11-2012 to 31-10-2017 on the lines of the settlement in every other bank. On account of every single other Bank,
not just wage correction was settled in May, 2015, with impact from November, 2012, the transaction for the following pay amendment due from 1-11-2017 was likewise in progress.
"Yet, it is most lamentable and unfortunate that the administration of IDBI Bank has been deferring the issue unjustifiably," AIBEA said in an announcement. As per AIBEA, its units in IDBI Bank — All India IDBI Officers Association and All India IDBI Employees Association — have chosen to strike labor for two days in October.
"It is most appalling that when the Bank is experiencing gigantic awful credits because of Himalayan blunder, rather than taking the whole workforce together in reclaiming the Bank to better wellbeing, the administration is endeavoring to mislead and punish the staff by denying their honest to goodness wage amendment," the AIBEA said.
"Yet, it is most lamentable and unfortunate that the administration of IDBI Bank has been deferring the issue unjustifiably," AIBEA said in an announcement.
